What makes Matrixyal 3D technology unique?
Matrixyal 3D technology is based on a layered combination of three different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid (HA).
Matrixyal 3D technology is based on a layered combination of three different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid (HA).
The base is a 25 mg/ml concentration of cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel, composed of a blend of two HA chains with different molecular weights (1 MDa and 2 MDa). This is complemented by an outer layer of free HA with a molecular weight of 500 kDa, which protects the HA against enzymatic degradation. A distinctive feature of the technology is the three-dimensional matrix, produced at low temperatures with extended cross-linking time. As a result, the products achieve an extremely low residual BDDE level of <0.1 ppm.
