Polynucleotides
Polynucleotides (PN, PDRN) are naturally derived biopolymers used in regenerative medicine that support skin renewal and tissue regeneration at the cellular level. These active ingredients consist of DNA chain fragments and can activate the skin's natural repair processes, thereby stimulating cell proliferation, enhancing microcirculation, and promoting fibroblast activity.
Polynucleotide-based formulations do not provide volume but biologically stimulate regenerative mechanisms. Treatments improve skin hydration, elasticity, and tone, reduce inflammatory reactions, and accelerate wound healing. They are particularly recommended for sensitive, dull, pigmented, or acne-prone skin, as well as after laser or exfoliating treatments.
PN and PDRN formulations are typically administered into the dermis using mesotherapy techniques (micro-needling, cannula), and their course-based application leads to natural, gradual, and visibly improved skin quality. Their use requires the presence of a trained medical or aesthetic professional.
