Teosyal Redensity 2 is the first and only dermal filler specifically designed for the tear trough and under-eye area. Its unique 3-in-1 formula combines crosslinked and non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid with a revitalizing complex of 14 essential nutrients, including amino acids, antioxidants, and vitamin B6, to support skin quality and help delay visible signs of aging. Formulated with low hygroscopicity, Redensity 2 minimizes water retention, reducing the risk of swelling and puffiness. Its light, spreadable consistency applies minimal pressure to fragile tissues, lowering the risk of lumpiness or irregularities. The recommended injection depth is pre-periosteal (deep/sub-orbicularis) for precise placement and optimal longevity. Results are typically visible immediately and last between 9–12 months. For complete facial harmony, Redensity 2 can be combined with RHA 4 to restore midface volume and support the tear trough area. Maintenance with topical products such as R[II] Eyes can further prolong and enhance results.

Technique & protocol:

• Use slow, deep injections to reduce the risk of vascular injury
• Inject into the pre-periosteal (deep) or sub-orbicularis dermis, depending on the area
• Recommended injection techniques: Bolus or retrograde linear threading
• For the microbolus technique, use a 30G needle and inject deeply, in contact with the bone
• For retrograde threading: Use a 25G cannula (TSK 25Gx50mm recommended) with a single-entry point
• Insert the needle or cannula at a 5° to 15° angle
• Inject a maximum of 0.5 ml per tear trough
• Gently massage the area after injection for even distribution
• A touch-up may be performed after 1 month, if needed

Precautions:

• Do not use in patients with under-eye bags (fatty herniation or lymphatic stasis)
• Avoid using Teosyal Redensity 2 in cases of lower eyelid laxity
• Do not combine with other aesthetic procedures, such as peeling, laser treatments, or ultrasound-based treatments
• Patients should be advised not to wear make-up during 12 hours following injection
• Patients should avoid sun, UV exposure, and extreme temperatures within the first 24 hours, or until initial swelling and redness has resolved
